I purchased... three tomatoes, a bag of basil, a thing of honey fig goat cheese, a honey bear, and a bag of pita bread. All were wonderful scores.
I used the pita bread, goat cheese and honey to make us breakfast today. Pretty tasty.
For dinner I made a pita pizza with pesto (homemade), tomatoes, and shrimp. (If you'd like to know more about my trials and tribulations with pesto check out that awesome Making Stuff Is Hard tab up there at the top of this blog.)
Does your town have a farmer's market?
If so have you ever been and what do you like to get?
Have you entered the wine charm giveaway?

That pizza looks good. I want to go to the farmers market here. I should do that one Saturday.
I made your easy, bbq pulled chicken last night. Yummy!
Hahaha I love Beezus5 with the produce.
We do have a farmer's market here. It's every Thursday right at the most inconvenient time when I'm at work. I would love to go over there, but I never have the time. :(
eh...not sure if Vegas has a farmer's market. and if we did...not sure i'd go. i mean, we live in a desert - not farmland.
but that's sucky about your pesto. i will def continue to opt for the pre-made stuff. and cookies are hard to make/form WITHOUT cookie cutters. those baby buggy cookies looked like baby cars (which is kinda kewler than buggies), and your bottle cookie kinda looks like my reject cookies from Acorn's weekend ...
i bet they still taste yummy tho!
Wow, i cant believe the pesto didnt work, because that basil told me it was goign to be awesome. Also, the tomato smelled great and the peach was glorious.
The pesto worked. It was just hard to make due to some malfunctioning machinery.
I want some of the pita, honey and goat cheese now! We do have a farmers market but I'm rarely around on Saturday mornings to make it. I did get to Dean & Deluca in Napa this weekend and walked away with pesto sauce with truffles. I can't wait to try it!
Don't you have a Cuisinart, and didn't I give you a mini one which seems like it would work?
It sounds and looks like the farmers market was a success!
